BANGKOK (Reuters) – Thailand's government has drawn up a 300 billion baht (6.0 billion pounds) plan for water management and flood prevention schemes along the Chao Phraya river basin to prevent a repeat of devastating floods last year. Outgoing Finance Minister Thirachai Phuvanatnaranubala has said another 50 billion baht could be spent on 17 related river basins and other infrastructure. Here …
